Knowing you find every ball will notonly boost your confidence but also significantly reduce your penalty strokes
With the Chiping smart ball you reduce the search time to the minimum and accelerate the pace of play
Did you know an average player loses 4-5 balls a round? With Chiping smart balls you don’t need a bag full of spare balls
Even though the smart ball is constructed and build to meet all criteria of the Rule 5 and Appendix III of the USGA and R&A, which are Weight, Size, Spherical Symmetry, Initial Velocity and Overall Distance Standards, the ball has not yet been submitted for an official conformance ruling.
The smart ball unfortunately, can‘t swim. The transmission range will be quickly reduced with every inch of water over the ball.
If you are not comfortable, save your smart ball for “real” fairways., use a standard ball instead. You will be able to see the splash just as well.
Chiping smart balls can generally be found in less than 1 minute. It will take a bit of practice the first few times, but even our most vigorous tests never took longer than 2 -3 minutes.
The terrain and obstacles surrounding the ball will affect the transmission of signals. In general the signal gets picked up from a distance of 30 yards/meters.
Chiping smart balls are supposed to increase the fun of the game and smarten it. It is not currently planned to apply for any change of R&A or USGA rules.
Please note: Due to the nature of the product we are not accepting any returns.
Once you activate your Chiping smart ball for its first game, it will last for about a year, at least. This is plenty of time to improve your score!
Chiping smart balls play just like other balls. You may play it as a regular ball until it is completely worn. Then please recycle accordingly.
The current version is not rechargeable. The battery life will normally outlast the lifespan of the ball.
GPS location information can be easily off by 10 yards/meters. We use GPS in the App to ease the search by painting the search path and pattern on the course.
